Chocolate biscuit cake|No bake chocolate cake

Let’s talk about the yummy desert in the form of chocolate biscuit cake which is kids favourite. Chocolate biscuit cake is an easy and simple chocolate cake which was made by biscuit as its base. the base is a mixture of leftover biscuits simple as well as some chocolate biscuits. This recipe is extremely simple and easy to make. The cake is either baked in oven or in pressure cooker.You can also make in pan. Sprinkle some Choco chips and strawberry syrup and serve chocolate biscuit cake as a desert.

INGREDIANTS



Butter paper
80 grams glucose biscuits (can use marie biscuits or digestive biscuits)
120 gm chocolate biscuit (Hide and seek or bonbon biscuit or any chocolate biscuits)
2 teaspoon milk
1 /4 teaspoon baking powder

For chocolate icing
100 grams chocolate or ½ cup chopped or broken chocolate
2 tablespoon sugar or add as required
1 tablespoon cocoa powder  (optional)   

INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Line a cake pan or a loaf pan with butter paper or parchment paper. 
  2. Break the biscuits in a bowl. Here I use Hide and seek biscuit and 1 Mario gold biscuit. You can use any chocolate biscuit. 
  3. Now, grind to a fine powder.
  4. Now add 1 teaspoon milk and again grind to form a thick batter.
  5. Now, add it in a bowl and add 1 teaspoon milk and baking powder.
  6. Mix very well to solution without any lumps. Keep aside.
  7. Pour into a lined, greased 7″ square tin and level the batter or in a cooker.
  8. Pressure cook for 20 minutes on low flame.
  9. On the other hand, lets prepare chocolate icing.
  10. Now, take a bowl, add grated dark chocolate and 1/2 cup cream or malai. You can use any chocolate.
  11. Take water in a small sauce pan and warm it. The water should be warm or slightly hot.
  12. Now, keep the bowl on sauce pan and with the help of whisk, simmer for 2 minutes on a low to medium-low flame. Stir often so that all the sugar and chocolate dissolves.
  13. Switch off the flame and add keep the bowl down and begin to mix. Mix to a smooth glossy consistency. At this point you can add some chopped nuts or dry fruits if you want.
  14. Remove from the flame and check with a tooth pick to see whether it is done.
  15. Now carefully lift the sides of the butter paper and keep biscuit cake on a chopping board or tray and cool completely before slicing. 
  16. Now, slice the cake into two parts gently.
  17. You just need to coat the biscuit cake with the chocolate icing.
  18. Now pour half of the chocolate icing on the biscuit layers and spread it evenly but gently with a spatula. You can also tilt the pan so that the chocolate icing spreads.
  19. Finally, pour the chocolate icing and spread it evenly and refrigerate the biscuit cake for 5-6 hours.
  20. Now, sprinkle Choco chips and strawberry syrup and serve chocolate biscuit cake as a desert.
